Adelaide River Cruises is a locally run operation delivering the most thrilling and authentic crocodile experience in the Northern Territory. Located deep on the Adelaide River floodplains — well off the beaten track — our tours take you into the heart of croc country, where wildlife is abundant and the encounters are anything but ordinary.

Owned and operated by Territory locals Adam and Sean, Adelaide River Cruises is the result of decades of experience on these waters. With a hands-on approach and a passion for the region, they’ve built a business that puts safety, authenticity, and adventure at the forefront. Backed by a tight crew of trained guides — including their sons — this is a homegrown operation that knows the land, the river, and its creatures better than anyone.

Our stretch of river is home to Dominator and Brutus — two of the largest saltwater crocodiles in the Top End, both pushing the six-metre mark. If you’re chasing a raw, up-close croc encounter, you won’t find a better spot.

We operate two 9-metre purpose-built river punts, designed for stability and safety, fitted with full protective cages that keep the action outside the boat where it belongs.
