Fogg Dam Conservation Reserve

Just a short drive from the Adelaide River, Fogg Dam is one of the Top End’s most accessible wetlands and a paradise for wildlife lovers. The reserve is home to a huge variety of birdlife, turtles, water pythons, and the occasional saltwater crocodile basking on the banks. Boardwalks and viewing platforms make it easy to explore safely while taking in sweeping views of the floodplains and their seasonal changes.

Fogg Dam is a favourite stop for photographers, nature enthusiasts, and anyone keen to experience the NT’s remarkable biodiversity up close. Whether you’re birdwatching, enjoying a picnic, or just soaking in the scenery, it’s a peaceful contrast to the high-adrenaline croc cruise and a must-see on the way back to Darwin.
